Episode 147: Unexpected Memory Keeping
September 30th, 2020 | Season 7 | 1 hr 2 mins
Our first topic in our season of the unexpected is memory-keeping. We tackle a couple of big topics within the span of the episode.
We talk about the different ways in which our memory-keeping has taken unexpected turns over the years and how it's landed us in such interesting places. Both Amanda and I talked about the unique projects that we've crafted to document our lives when traditional scrapbooking wasn't just working out for us.
Amanda asked me some great questions about Daily Pages, and then we talked about how she came up with memory planning after trying to find a home for her stories in a few other places.
We chatted for a bit about how both of these projects for us took a long time to simmer before they felt like a real home for our stories.
And if you've been listening to our episodes lately, you know that we've been finding ways to talk about Ali Edwards' December Daily project in a few of our past episodes. To wrap the episode, we talked about ways that we can bring this unexpected season of life into fun unexpected twists in our December Daily albums. We are so excited to dive into this project later on this year. -
